For a room over $250 a night it was a terrible experience. Rooms are extremely hot and humid to the point none of us slept. They have one small portable air conditioner in the bedroom that did a poor job. Broken ice machine. Most doors ,pools etc required a key card which seemed to never work. We booked and paid for two days only to find out when we went to enter our room that our keys didn't work due to them being inactivated because they only had is booked for one we checked out a day early...thank goodness. I would not go back to this place.

The Village at Schweitzer Mountain is a great place to visit. Take the ski chair to the summit. The Sky House is a new addition at the summit. Visit the bar and grill and enjoy the view.

Great uncomplicated lodging! Selkirk Lodge is easy drive up well maintained roads. Service is great and views are to the village or the slopes (we've had both). Good breakfast and slopes to the lift is just out of the back door. Hot tub and pool await!

Big rooms, cleaned & updated. Beautiful view, outdoor pool & hot tubs. Plan on driving 20 minutes for restaurants and shopping, there are food & shops here but prices are much higher than in Sandpoint.
