My family and I love Cataloochee! The people are always nice and helpful and the runs are a lot of fun! There are green, blue, and black runs and although this isn't Colorado, it is a nice area that is clean and well kept. The food is very expensive, but we always bring our own lunch. We also go during the week when there are not any lines--it is more crowded on the weekends. We go every year and will continue to do so. Great family place!

It”s great place for beginners, they have class for very cheap $22. Even it is hard to maintain snow in March, they are doing job in maintaining it. I really loved, I am gone visit place again and again

Everyone is happy they exist. Makes for quicker travel for many. However, they are definitely no Beech or Sugar, if you are expecting that. Slope conditions were poor even after an extended cold snap that should have allowed them to build up the base considerably. Day after it ended the slopes were already showing bare spots and the lift ramps were terrible. My wife nearly got clobbered by the chair when she fell off on the green lift because there was just not enough of a decline for people to fall down and away from the chair. Worst was all the trash on the lifts going all the way up. I mean, holy cow. Beer cans everywhere. Send some of your low paid employees up there for trash duty. I dunno, it is alright, but could be a lot better. Maybe a capital issue.

If you have been skiing for a while this place is lame. It’s more for beginners and The trails are all short.

Most employees were RUDE! One told my son at the ski rental place if he cut his self on the new skis don't come crying to him, he wasn't his mother!" There were a few (not many) that were extremely nice. I wish I got their names. They deserve shout outs. I definitely wish I got the hateful employees names! There were way too many to remember!! One young lady wouldn't take our money. She wanted to talk about her social life with her co workers. We spent way too much money to be treated so poorly.
